Farrah Fawcett, of course! The effortless volume is what gets me. Her look was iconic then and still is today!
What’s on your go-to playlist in the salon?
I like to mix it up! Tame Impala, Kaytranada, Meg thee Stallion when I’m feeling fierce.
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
Most likely at the park with my puppy Olive! If you don’t find me there, I’m probably at one of Philly’s amazing restaurants, or checking out a local art gallery.

Kitty
Creative Director, Stylist, Educator
As Creative Director, Kitty is the driving force behind our team's artistic growth and inspiration. She cultivates a collaborative environment where each stylist is encouraged to innovate, ensuring our clients receive a uniquely inspired look every time.
Kitty has been an educator since 2015, and working exclusively with Davines since 2019. She educates stylists on techniques, color theory, and scientific knowledge to give a comprehensive understanding and mastery of hair color.
Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
Although it’s all wigs, Trixie Mattel is always giving me Barbie blonde realness, I love the retro style with the high end, shiny, polished look. I think I love making people blonde because I don’t have the complexion for it, but deep down inside I want long bright blonde hair the is two feet above my head and contour that makes my cheekbones as sharp as glass.
What’s on your go-to playlist in the salon?
I like a chill vibe so it’s going to be something like Amy Winehouse or Childish Gambino, but I will find a way to work to anything that I can lipsync to while mixing color.
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
I moved here in 2021 from Boston so when I’m not working I’m trying to soak up as much of the culture as I can. If it anything has to do with film, history, or art I want in! I love animals, I will find a reason to stop and pet any creature (domesticated or not) roaming the streets of Philadelphia.
What’s your work motto?
Kate Spade once said “I do things that I actually love and understand.” As a Davines educator, I find that my craft has been refined and enhanced by continuing education. To know the how’s and why’s of hair styling makes me more confident and helps me to produce greater outcomes for my guests.

Ant is an educator with Davines, teaching stylists product knowledge, color theory, and modern techniques.
Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
Miley Cyrus, for sure. This probably has something to do with my love for Hannah Montana, but she's also had every haircut and rocked each one. I love her.
What’s on your go-to playlist at the salon?
I've been really into Surf Rock lately. But Lorde, St. Vincent, and Haim always end up on my playlist. Maybe Charli XCX if I need an energy boost!
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
You'll find me caught in a month-long obsession with one activity, such as sea kayaking, gardening, or playing Zelda.
What’s your work motto?
When we lose our egos, we build more meaningful and deeper relationships. There is something to be learned from everyone, and we all deserve a voice!

Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
Hayley Williams, hands down!! As someone who has a passion for vivid colors and alternative styles, Hayley has always been a hair & style Icon for me!
What's on your go-to playlist in the salon?
Something versatile but vibey.. could end up being anything from Glass Animals, to Tyler the Creator, to Billie Eilish, to A Day to Remember. I have a playlist for everything!!!
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
I spend my days off relaxing with Animal Crossing or one of my favorite shows, hiking with my pup and partner, or finding where the best food in (or out) of the city is! Over the summer catch me at a festival or show with my homies, music is a huge passion of mine and I’m lucky to get to share that with my friends!
What's your work motto?
Manifest for each day to be better than the last, hold space for yourself to be creative and push the limits, and strive to spread positivity to others through your work!

Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
It’s hard to choose! I would say Jennifer Aniston or Goldie Hawn if we’re talking long hair. Jake Gyllenhaal or Frank Sinatra would have to be my favorite for Barber/Short Cuts.
What’s on your go-to playlist at the salon?
Arts Fishing Club or The Backseat Lovers have been two recent favorite artists of mine!
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
On my days off you can usually find me listening to podcasts & cooking, taking film photos, creating in the pottery studio, or hanging on the couch with my dog and husband binging the latest Netflix docu-series.
What’s your work motto?
When it comes to cutting hair, I really feel that your hair should work with you, not against you! I love being able figure out a way to make your hair look great while still working with your lifestyle.

Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
Jackie Bieber is my all time favorite stylist. The art she paints on to hair is truly the most inspiring thing and what got me the most interested in hair!
What’s on your go-to playlist in the salon?
It depends on the day but I'll take anything upbeat that'll keep me in the flow. From Indie-rock to 90s, anything is perfect.
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
Definitely cuddling my cats and watching anime. If I'm not doing that then you can catch me in a park drawing my surroundings!

Patience and kindness will always help you get to where you need to be.

Who is your all-time favorite hair inspo?
Jane Birkin. Who doesn't love an effortlessly cool look? Messy fringe, lightly layered, vintage yet modern. The 60s was an overall great time for hair, but Jane’s hair truly gives that it girl, muse hair we all strive for.
What’s on your go-to playlist at the salon?
Indie pop for sure. beach fossils, blood orange, phantogram anything a bit melodic & calm.
On a day off, what would we find you doing?
You can catch me seeing live music, checking out local restaurants or taking on a road trip. On a calmer day reading, drawing, putting on a record and cooking seems like the perfect day.
What’s your work motto?
Creativity is key. Keeping that passion and loving what you do come from feeling some creative freedom to design the perfect cut or the perfect color. Taking your knowledge and thinking outside the box.
